The Track Senior Tour conducted the first mixed
trio at Plano Super Bowl. On short notice there were 93 bowlers attracted to the
event that had one woman, one senior, and one super senior on each team. The teams were
mostly named after Track Bowling balls. Toby Yeager, Rick Talley and Beth Owen, the XF
team edged the Elites with a Talley double in the tenth for the win. Cliff Park, David
Rountree, and Donna Conners came from fifth to challenge the XFs for the title. Rich
Snyder, Chuck Pierce, and Whitney Choate were third.
Notes: 300 games were bowled by Bill Smith and Dennis Francis. Butch Calvert won the dog
of the week for 140 low game of the tournament. The snack bar sales were off for the first
time during a SASBA event in Plano. Bill Sinsabaugh did not bowl.
