THE TUB IS SUPREME

Rick "The Tub" Talley ran away with the Ebonite Senior Tour tournament  at Diamond Lanes in Odessa. The win was on one of the most demanding bowling conditions SASBA has bowled on ever. In an effort to equalize the right and left which was accomplished, we ended with a shot that required extreme accuracy and the ability to repeat the same speed to excel. Talley was a master. Gray Dickinson finished second, Ronnie Hulme third, and Sal Turano fourth. Tommy Crouch and Joe Tidwell bowled great from the left side.
Notes: Dave Hoff rolled 123 to capture the dog of the week award for low game of the tournament. James Askins and Joe Tidwell made the finals for the first time. First time cashers were Paul Nichols, John Dodd, and Harry Deter. Gray Dickinson drove his motor home and brought Talley, B D Walls, Lorrie, and Dave Farrar. With The Tub

and all of those bowling balls, they had a blow out on the way to Odessa and three blow outs on the way back. Over load for sure. The bowlers worked so hard bowling the eight games Saturday, that everyone was dragging Sunday morning. The scores on the A squad Sunday were in full retreat so fast, that we almost had to call out the bugle corps.  We thought we were going to have to get James Askins a wheel chair after the finals to get him to his car.
Remember the Plano tournament could fill, get your entry in early,
See all of you Super Seniors in Shreveport this weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
