HUMPHREY-ENSMINGER WIN

At last, Mickey Humphrey has won his FLAG! Mickey teamed with Jim Ensminger to come from 16th qualifying place to win the Ebonite Senior Tour's annual member-member doubles tournament.  They bested Jim Paine and David Rountree in the final match starting with a six bagger to win.  Just goes to show ya that practice does work. The qualifying leaders, Maury Newman and Dick Smith finished third, Bobby Wilkinson and Jimmy Young fourth, and Pat Currie and Rudy Garcia were fifth. The bowling condition had monster OB on the right and immediate hook if you set it even a little short. There were too many weird leaves to mention, but the most notable one was a

Notes: 

Mel Wood made his first finals in over ten years of bowling SASBA, great going MEL!  Bill Butterfield won the dog of the week award with 115 low game of the tournament. The team of Martin and Lewis had one 200 game in eighteen tries. We saw good guy Bobby Stephens.  Kerry Fulford named his (partner) horse Shetland Pony.  Robert Gibbs was two hours early for the sweeper.  The Tub rested on Sunday. A three hundred game was rolled by Dennis Francis.
