SMITH-OZIO WIN M-G

Bill Smith and David Ozio won the Ebonite Senior Tour's member-guest doubles tournament at Don Carter West in Dallas. This win was Bill Smith's third doubles title. Dennis Psaropoulos and D.J. Archer finished second. Ron Leverich and Ryan Boroff and Grady Creasie and Donald Ray tied for third and Jim Ensminger and Ron Williams were fifth.
We have been working with our proprietors who host and sponsor our tournaments to achieve equality on both sides of the lane. The first two member-guest tournaments were dominated by the left handers. This tournament, the left side was too tough as was the right side in Tulsa. The only reason the right handers made the finals in Tulsa was  there was not enough lefties to take all of the places. This tournament was just the opposite. We are trying to get it right. The latest bowling balls tear

Inside this issue:

the oil pattern up so fast that it is hard to predict just what you will have out there. My hat is off the lefties that stayed in there and did not give up. One of them even shot +193. If you will take time to go back and look, SASBA has the best record of any of the professional organizations  in bowling for the righty -lefty problem. Again we are working hard to get it right and hope those who were not happy will understand that we did not want it to happen the way it did.
See ya in Houston.

Notes:

Notes: Jerry Hill rolled 128 and thought he had won the dog of the week award, but Jerry Anderson beat him out with 126 for low game of the tournament (they were both right-handers. D.J. Archer and David Ozio rolled 300 games.  Ronnie Diamond rolled two air balls that went in the gutter.  Bill Smith won with the new V2 Strong and never changed balls. We are worried about Stan, he has been spending too much time in the bar, maybe that is what has made him bowl so good lately.
