PRES THREEPETES

SASBA president, Rick Talley captured the Ebonite Senior Tour Tournament at AMF Sheridan Lanes in Tulsa for the third year in a row, a SASBA first! Talley has been under preforming as of late, so the last two weeks he has been practicing. Jim Ensminger was 81 pins down going into the final match with Talley. Jim started with a six bagger, Talley a triple and then the greek church, letting Ensminger get within striking distance. A Greek Church for Jim ended his quest. Roy Parrish finished third, Jim Hardesty, fourth and the qualifying leader Mike Fleming was fifth.
The Masters tournament in New Braunfels will be match play for

Inside this issue:

the entire twelve game qualifying, just like we used to run in Vegas. We will take one third of the field to the finals, where a single game elimination format will be used.
Our next event will be the SS-Guest tournament at Oak Hills in San Antonio, see ya there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Notes:

Charlie George rolled 121 low game of the tournament to win the dog of the week award. Three hundred games were rolled by Jim Hardesty and Mike Fleming. There were four OKLAHOMA lilies left;  Jerry Beavers, C J Johnson, Dave Farrar and Ed Vowell. Spike got to stay around and watch his buddies Mike Lynch and Doug Barron bowl the finals. Has anybody seen Ronnie Diamond?????? Bobby Taylor got his first check. If you like tortilla soup, see Rudy Garcia, he knows where to find the best. David Falcon got the ball out of the bag, he found that it works better. Boyd Clark got another knee replacement, he must be doing good for he is ordering Sue around again.
