Phil "Preacher" Bailey captured in a run away  Ebonite Senior Tour Annual Championship in Plano.  In the battle of the straight is great contest, Phil was so far ahead going into the last match that he almost could sit it out. Fabulous Fred Barnes was second, Gary Dickinson third, Roger West fourth, and Steve Ray fifth. The wet dry lane condition favored the straight shooters, if a player even thought about getting it right, the ball went high.  Both sides of the lane had a chance.  It was another great event at Plano Super Bowl.  Make plans to a bowl in the third Bob Summerville Memorial Tournament in Irving at Thanksgiving weekend. Inside this issue:

Super Senior. The Entry fee is a one time $160. Each Division will  bowl eight games Friday and eight games Saturday.  The finals on Sunday will consist of best two of three game elimination matches for each division. Three-thousand will be added to each division. We have 48 lanes to work with, plenty of room for a lot of bowlers.
Our next event in San Antonio will be two tournaments with $2000 added in each. We will bowl our regular format for each tournament.   See Ya there!!!!!!!!!

Notes:

Butch Calvert rolled 102, yes 102 to win the dog of the week award for low game of the tournament in the second chance part of the tournament.  Les Burnham left the lily.  Three hundred games were rolled by John Denton, Otto Miller, Rick Talley, Steve McBride, and Ron Leverich.  Spike had a 102.  After 34 years of trying, Dee Munsell finally beat Gary Dickinson in match play (Gary has a hurt arm).  Mike Lynch had a 131 game and thanks Butch.  Joe Bess and Gene Rivers missed the 2 pin, the 7 pin and the 6-10 the final Baker match against Bill Keenan and Dewayne Thompson, but still backed into winning the second chance doubles. The Coach could not help Dewayne.  Zappitelli could not cash in the second chance even with two partners.
