Text Box: 	Charles Avant bested Chuck Pierce195-191 to win the SS Champions Ebonite Senior Tour Tournament in Fort Worth. Bob Freehauf was third, John Denton; fourth and Don Holland; fifth. 
	Ron Benz  converted the 3-6-10 by a whisker to defeat Jerry Swank in the Senior Champions Tournament 245-236. David    Rountree was third, Joe Binder; fourth, and Rick Talley; fifth.  Jim Stephens came from –81 the first four game block to capture the Non-Champions tournament. Leo Markwardt was second, Ralph Pridmore; third, Butch Calvert; fourth, and Ronnie Cochran; fifth.
	The Masters tournament in New Braunfels is open to all $160 entry. This is all match play, each bowler will bowl two matches every game of qualifying. The meeting will be at 8 AM Saturday. The Super Seniors will bowl at 8:45 AM; eight matches. The lanes will be reconditioned then the Seniors will bowl at 2 PM, the meeting for the Seniors will be at 1PM. There will be four more matches Sunday morning with the SS starting at 8:45AM and Seniors at 11AM. The top one third in each division will reach the finals.  The finals will be a one game single elimination shootout. The top eight in each side will be seeded to the round of 32 with one Champion.  Get your entry in early each side must be divisible by four.

Text Box: Art Buser rolled 118 low game of the tournament to win the dog of the week award. Three hundreds were rolled by John Hawkins, Toby Yeager, Bob Freehauf, and Tip Bullock. Otto Miller left the solid ringing lily. Paul McCordic was awarded the BoLo award for crappy bowling Saturday. He made a come back Sunday. Ronnie Cochran made his first finals.
