Text Box: Charlie Hufford ran away and hid from the field in the Ebonite Senior Tour Super Senior Tournament at Diamond Lanes in Pasadena. He led everybody in the qualifying, even all of the senior players in the other tournament. Hufford continued to blast the pins in the finals and no bowler came close. Gary Dickinson finished second, Richard Britton was third, Thurman Thomas; fourth, and Beb Freehauf captured fifth. David Ozio won the Text Box: Senior Tournament after a slow start. When he found the right combination there was no contest. Bob Purzycki finished second in his second SASBA try, Bryce Ellison was third, Mark Estes; fourth, and Maury Newman finished fifth. This tournament was one of the haves and have-nots. If you could find the right shot it seemed easy, if you didn’t find it, it was really tough.
Be lining up your partners for our member-guest Text Box: tournament, Easter weekend in Houston at Dynamic Lanes, there is only room for 64 teams. Our next event is at Plano Super Bowl, a regular singles event.
