Text Box: Bob McGregor rolled 279 to Leon Aragon’s 257 to capture his 26th Ebonite Senior Tour tournament win. Magoo is four wins ahead of Gary Dickinson for most SASBA wins. It was June of 2004 in Shreveport when McGregor last won, an eternity for him and a short time for the rest of us mortals. It was tough to watch the qualifying leader, Bob Freehauf, the second qualifying leader, Don Holland, third Tip Bullock, fourth Roger West, fifth Gary Dickinson and seventh John Denton, all lose that first one game Text Box: match. Great bowling to all of you. Ben Edwards left the solid nine pin to lose, to miss the final four. Defending champ Dick Smith just missed making the final four. Chuck Kent and Chuck Pierce finished tied for third. Jay Treitley has the lanes in fine shape for the bowlers. He used one of the PBA shots.
SASBA’s annual championship is our next event. Plano Super bowl will be the host. Please remember the entry fee is $210, the extra fifty goes to the prize fund. The meeting will start at 8AM Saturday. A Squad will Text Box: start at 9AM and will bowl eight games. The lanes will be re-oiled and B Squad will start at 2PM for their 8 games. Half of the field will cash! The top half will return at 8:45AM Sunday to bowl four more games. The top twenty four will advance to the finals and will bowl 12 matches.
There will be a Non-cashers doubles at 9:30AM with $1000.00 added, $40 entry fee.
	See ya there!!!!!!!!!!

Tip Bullock rolled 300.

Stan Workman and Win Cockrell both left the lily. This is two tournaments in a row for Stan.

David Rountree showed up 45 minutes early for the first squad, a new Text Box: record.

There were too many PC,s to mention, but RB rolled a PC. David Addington had a PC in the left gutter, yes left gutter, he said that he dropped the ball, that was an understatement.

Ronnie Diamond was able to make it through eight games again. Diamond gave away his spareless ball and is going to get a 13 pound spare ball Text Box: he said.

Chuck “Superman” Kent is back and he bowled great. I talked to John Riley Saturday and he is feeling better and has had a rough time making it the last couple of months.

Jerry Beavers won the Linds Shoes for first out of the money.
