SASBAText Box: Paul McCordic defeated Jimmy Young the final match to win his first Ebonite Senior Tour singles title at Del Mar Lanes in Houston. Paul rolled 237 to Young’s 204 for the win. Young, a looking to become a SASBA “Sultan of Slop”, did his normal beating up of the pins from all directions, including a unusual 300 game. He lost his magic that final match. He left ten pins, a four–nine split, and a swishing seven-ten split which he converted! Youngs loss dropped him to fourth, Text Box: Dale Dumbleton finished second, Bryce Ellison was third, and Randy Summers finished fifth.
