SASBAText Box: Sal Turano won the Senior and Jack Wallisch won the Super Senior division in the Bob Summerville Memorial Tournament on the Ebonite Senior Tour at Don Carter City View Lanes in Fort Worth. The Tournament was sponsored by Lind’s Shoes and Bowling This Month Magazine. In the senior division, Turano bested Bob Glass in the best two of three game matches. Glass was second and Michael Warren and David Ozio were third. Ron Depolo, Text Box: Jimmy Young, Doug Barron, and Dewayne Thompson were fifth. Jack Wallisch edged Fred Barnes to take the Super Senior Division, and get his first SASBA title. Barnes was second, Charlie Hufford and Gary Dickinson were third, Chuck Kent, Bob McGregor, Ben Edwards, and Toby Yeager were fifth. Enclosed in the newsletter is the ballot for the SASBA bowlers of the year. Please return them now or email me at srbowl@aol.com your votes. The pick for Text Box: bowler of the year will get 10 points, the second pick will get nine points, and so on until the tenth pick will get one point. Please get your entry in for the annual team tournament with your entry fee by Wednesday before the tournament in our office. The computer will select the teams using your SASBA average. To enter members must have bowled in three tournaments this year. There are 44 teams paid for the Foursome tournament. Zap and Ronnie Diamond had Extreme RB’S each getting three off the left. David Addington and Bob Dull both left the lily. Geroge Atkinson rolled a 300 game.
