Text Box: 	Jim Stephens entered the finals at Copperfield Bowl in Houston in the Ebonite Senior Tour Tournament in second place. It did not take long to realize that he was going to be a force to reckon  with.  Stephens won seven matches and rolled a 299 game in the position round against second place Fred Barnes. Jim Paine qualified in the 16 and final spot. If he had ninety three pins Text Box: higher in the qualifying he would have won the tournament. Paine had only one bad game, a 237. Great bowling Fluffy. Qualifying leader Gordon Stuntz finished fourth and Rick Minier was fifth.  Thanks to Mike Nelson for having the bowl in superb shape for us. 
	Our next event is our annual Super Senior / Senior Doubles. You do not need a partner, for partners will be Text Box: STEPHENS AGAIN

Text Box: Walter Johnson started out with 111 after fifteen minutes practice to win the dog of the week award for low game of the tournament. 

Three hundreds were rolled by Gordon Stuntz, David Zappitelli, Bryce Ellison, Otto Miller, and Mike Cox.
