Text Box: Joe Lecroy bowled steady during qualifying, then turned it on in the finals to blow by everyone and win his 7th SASBA title in convincing fashion. Kenny Gullette led the qualifying and finished 2nd, barely ahead of the defending champ...Willie Wells. Clarence McQueen had his highest finish in 4th and Billy Flocks is throwing it great again and got 5th.
Thanks to Jason Fox and crew for being outstanding Text Box: hosts. The shot was a little tricky for some, but fair left and right. They want us back again next year and have new owners as of today.
300s were bowled by Colin Kyle, Donald Robinson, and Maury Newman. We have a lot of new members from the Houston area and had 19 more entries than last year at this stop.
We’ll be in Lafayette, LA for the Labor Day Blowout next weekend and Text Box: two weeks later we will be at Bandera Super Bowl in San Antonio for the Annual Non-Champs Tourney. The following week , we’ll be in Euless for the Annual Championship. Half the field cashes in that one and entry fee is $230. You have to have two tournaments this year to be eligible for it.
