Text Box: Text Box: Trigger couldn’t carry Kenny Winstead. Kenny Robertson didn’t like it Sunday, but returned Monday to win the 2nd chance sweeper Text Box: with Butch Cormier. Judy and Shannon both had their “fan clubs” present. Ziggy is back and bowled great! Super Dave is throwing it good again.

Text Box: Paul McCordic out-averaged everyone...members and guests...in the qualifying, then he and Everett Bubak never relinquished the lead in the finals and romped to an easy victory in the member/guest doubles of The Labor Day Blowout at Lafayette, Lanes. On a shot that was fairly easy to get to the pocket, but tough to carry, they had it figured out better than anyone.
Thanks again this year to Randy LeBlanc and Ric Boudreaux for being great hosts. This is one of the cleanest Text Box: centers we go to and they really make us feel welcome.
Delery Matherne and Jerry Conard got 2nd place, Randy Summers and John Amedee got 3rd, Billy Flocks and Craig Diver won 4th and Donald Robinson and Johnathan Wiley rounded out the top five.
The members singles on Saturday was won by Delery as he beat Randy Summers for the victory. Five seniors bowled in the guests’ singles and Tony Houston edged out Text Box: Chris Anderson for first place.
Our next tourney is the non-champs at Bandera Super Bowl in San Antonio. The following week is the Annual Championship in Euless, TX. The over 60/over 70 doubles is coming up in Corsicana. We are limited to 48 teams, so get your entries in early as it might fill up. No verbal entries for that one.
