Beavers was a great Text Box: handicapper. Rountree didn’t like it. We also picked up 3 new members. 300s were shot by Shannon Starnes, Paul Minier and Derek Williams. Text Box: Jim’s Notes Text Box: T. J. Johnson and Shawn Maldonado qualified first, then led wire to wire, bowling big game after big game to win the member/guest doubles at Crossroads Bowling Center in Beaumont, TX. It was T.J.’s 3rd SASBA title. Gary James and Jacob Heger bowled great to Text Box: get second. Jim Stephens and Stefanie Nation got third. Larry Thompson Sr. and Jr. finished 4th and Minier and Minier rounded out the top 5. Thanks to Mark Williams and staff for being gracious hosts. The scores were high and only those who Text Box: figured out the carry made the finals. Special thanks to Debbie and Mark Williams for pinch-hitting for Kathy and Jim Sunday morning.
