Text Box: Text Box: Debbie beat Jim. Mike beat Ron 2 pins to make it a long ride to KC for Ron. MM and Leon both had MMs. Fleming had an SW. The new president was wearing his new disguise. Ugh! Tam didn’t try a different ball until the 20th game. Watch out for Bill Text Box: Anderson. He’s retired now and has more time to bowl. I predict he’ll be in the finals a lot. Ken Strain and Fred Martens got checks in their first tournament. We had 6 new members in OKC. The recruiters are doing their job. Keep it up guys and gals.

Text Box: Mark Williams almost led from wire to wire. After leading Saturday and Sunday morning, he lost the lead to Doug Hayes after five games in the finals, but bounced back with a 279 to regain it and nail down his 9th SASBA title.
Doug got 2nd. Bill Anderson bowled great to get 3rd. Text Box: Paul McCordic was 4th and Jim Stephens rounded out the top five.

Thanks to Jerry Beavers and staff for being gracious hosts. It’s always nice to go back to Holiday Lanes. The staff is so friendly there and always trying to make us more Text Box: comfortable.

No one had 300, but there were numerous 299s.

Our next tournament is in Port Arthur, TX in two weeks. Two weeks later, there will be a Super Senior tournament at All Star Lanes in Shreveport, LA.
