Text Box:      Bob McGregor, the all-time SASBA title and money leader, qualified 2nd, then averaged 252 in the finals to run away from the field and win his 32nd SASBA title. Wow!
Bob never ceases to amaze! Mike Lynch led the Saturday scores on his way to 2nd place. Gary Dickinson got 3rd, John Deloney got 4th and qualifying leader Dave Lundgren rounded out the top 5.
    Thanks to Claude Thomas and staff for hosting us again. Claude has been in Text Box: the hospital for some time and the 79 entries at a Super Senior event outside of Texas is a testament to SASBA’s feelings for the Thomas family. We’re still praying for you Claude!
      Deloney made his first finals and 72 yrs. Young Albert Waites made his 2nd in a row!
     Our next tournament is this weekend in Baton Rouge at Metro Bowl. It is a regular singles event. In April, we’re having the member/member Text Box: doubles at Cowtown in Ft. Worth. It’s time to line up your partners...if you haven’t already. Call us if you need help finding a partner. If both members are under 60, only one can be a champion. Other than that, almost anything goes. The trio tournament May 1-2 starts a really busy summer season for SASBA with lots of different formats and tournaments.
