Text Box: Text Box:      We had our first SASBA wedding as Blane Adkins and Bernie Sliwinski tied the knot. Jerry Beavers won enough money to make him eligible for the Hall of Text Box: Fame. Lots of Super Seniors averaged over 230 in this tourney...including Sam Magill, Beavers, Tip Bullock and Gary Dickinson.

Text Box:      The team of Maury Newman, Joe Lecroy and Gary Pfeil qualified 2nd, then won two matches in the stairstep final to capture the Annual trio tourney at Showplace Lanes in Euless, TX. Qualifying leaders Randy Shewmake, Vic Benedict, and Jerry Beavers got 2nd. Gary Dickinson, Butch Calvert and Mike Lynch finished 3rd. Clint Austin, Robert Grigsby, Text Box: and Shorty Johnson were 4th and Roger West, Jim Ensminger and Tam Wasson rounded out the top five.
     Thanks to Rusty Dickinson and crew for being great hosts. The shot was high scoring and several honor scores were shot.
     We had 28 trio teams and bowlers came from as far away as Oregon and Kansas City.
     Our next Text Box: tourney is next weekend at Mel’s in Georgetown, TX. Memorial Day weekend we have a member/guest doubles in Pasadena at Armadilla 1. The mixed foursome in San Antonio is around the corner. Please let us know if you need partners or team members for these tournaments as we have many extra bowlers looking for Text Box:    Out on The Twig
