Text Box:      Dennis Francis used a big block Sunday morning to make the finals, then shot monster games while others were struggling with carry and nailed down his 10th SASBA title. This victory gives Dennis more than enough points to qualify for the SASBA Hall of  Fame.
     Mark Williams got 2nd place, Tam Wasson was 3rd, Joe Lecroy was 4th, and Donald Robinson rounded out the top five.
      Thanks to  Doug Patton and crew for being great hosts!  Mel’s Lone Star Lanes is a modern facility Text Box: with great food and all the SASBA bowlers and spouses were impressed. We will be going back there next Mother’s Day.
     Our next tournament is the member/guest doubles in Houston, TX at Armadilla I on Saturday and Sunday Memorial Day weekend. There is no bowling scheduled for Monday.
     The following week, we’ll be at Bandera Super Bowl in San Antonio, TX for a mixed foursome tourney. You need a Super Senior (60 and Text Box: over), a Senior (50 and over), a lady of any age and a guest of any age. The format is Swiss style, with match play points each game and every game is a position round.
     Don’t forget the Firecracker at Plano Super Bowl July 4th weekend. It’s two tournaments in one with separate qualifying and divisions for Senior and Super Seniors. Qualifying on Saturday and Sunday and match play on Monday. The entry fee is $230 and Text Box:    Out on The Twig
