Text Box: Our next tournament is our last Combo of the year at Tomball. The Port Arthur Center has been closed after Rita damaged it. We will have a regular singles tournament in Plano Memorial weekend. Text Box: John Woessner rolled his big hooking Big One straight into the pocket three times in a row to edge out Bryce Ellison in the Ebonite Senior Tour tournament at Plano Super Bowl. This is Woessner’s tenth SASBA title. Michael Warren finished with a fine 279 to tie Ellison for second. Gary Dickinson finished fourth and first timer Hal Champenois ended up fifth in the 137 entry Text Box: tournament. Woessner appeared at the bowl Sunday morning decked out in black pants, black shirt, black coat, with a white tie which he never took off. Maybe we should get a white tie to help us win the next event. It is time to line up your guests for our member-guest doubles at Dynamic Lanes in Houston Easter weekend. Three hundred games were rolled by Gary Dickinson, Kaz Kosydar, Sal Turano, Jesse Jackson had two, Kerry Fulford, CJ Johnson, Text Box: and Donald Robinson. Bill Johnson, SASBA,s first champion had a RB in the tenth frame on a nine bagger, OOPs. We are missing David Addington, he would have liked it. Text Box: Thanks to all that entered, we are remodeling Plano Super Bowl. The place was a mess but will look great soon. This was the first try with our lane machine, we have some tweeking to do to get it the way we would like it.
