FLEMING ROPES COWTOWN

Mike Fleming captured the Ebonite Senior Tour tournament in Fort Worth. Fleming started the finals with his second 300 game of the tournament and really never looked back. Robbie Kauffman won all eight of his matches to finish second. Jin Ensminger was third, Robert Gibbs fourth and Fred Barnes finished fifth. Reaching the pocket on the new Cowtown Lanes was not a tough task. The carry was the problem. There were lots of corners to look at. The Flu took a toll on the entries. Some players who bowled great Saturday took sick Sunday and lost their magic. Lets hope every body gets well before the holidays.
It is time to line your partners up for Tulsa's member-guest tournament next month.  The

The Annual team tournament will start at 11:30 AM Saturday and 8:45 AM Sunday. There will be no meeting before bowling.
The SASBA Annual meeting and Hall of Fame Induction will follow bowling Saturday. The Annual awards and bowlers of the year will be announced.

Notes:

Jim Sapey rolled 129 to win the dog of the week award for low game of the tournament. Three Hundred games were rolled by Rick Talley, Chuck Pierce, and two by Mike Fleming. Willie Jackson joined the lily club leaving the 5-7-10. David Addington just bowled great Saturday and really liked it. He did not get the flu Sunday. The two big towers had to stay and watch the left tower bowl. Hehehe.
